Hi all, I have been experiencing extreme toothache for the past 2 days. I have a broken tooth in my mouth and I guess the pain may be due to that. I tried taking all the painkillers, but they didn't help for long. I had to swish water in my mouth to get relief. I just can't sleep or cope with this. Touching the gum area around that broken tooth also hurts me a lot. I think I am in bad need of a root canal treatment.

I literally have to hold cold water in my mouth, or else the pain becomes unbearable. I am anyway considering to take dental extraction procedure. It has been too much of this and I just can't stop this pain. I'm thinking of going to the dentist tomorrow. But before that, I just wanted to know if anyone ever had this type of condition, and if so, how did you stop it?

Thank You.
