Very interesting comments and ALL input is good. The idea of having recent winners being forced to sit out for a while is NOT good , not just because I win once in a while but you would be punishing someone for their skill and attempts. I , like Courtney , put in about 200 - 300 points per night on most nights. I don't like the winner take all idea either because someone like me or Courtney would win it easy because we have enough points to keep going back and trying until we get into first place and that isn't fair to the people who don't have as many points.

I am very much in favor of Cash Crate paying people in accordance with reaching certain goals or levels of play , for instance in Crates , if you reach a score of at least 1,500 you would win 25 points , then if you could reach 2,000 you would get 50 points , 2,500 would get you 75 points , and 3,000 would get you 100 points for the day.

I do not like driving people away or discouraging people from playing and to be honest , Courtney and I have had discussions of holding off playing for "serious" scores until late at night , that way all the people who come in during the day will see attainable scores and it will encourage them to try a few more games to better their scores. I purposely stop in the afternoon ( sometimes after 1 game ) when I hit a score of 2,000 or take over first place because I don't want to put up a higher score that will drive people away after their one attempt. The competition has been getting better and with that the scores. Knarknac ( sorry for spelling ) , Dorio , Crash something or other , and maybe 3 or 4 others are now putting up scores over 1,500 and sometimes reaching into the low 2,000's. Let's try the goal system , that sounds the best and you are in competition with a number , not another player who keeps winning.

By the way , my winnings went over the 14,000 point mark this morning , not that I've cashed out that many , just that's what I've been paid and put most of them back into playing games. I've only cashed out a Walmart card and all the rest have been recycled to become crates in the Holiday contest which ends in 4 days and I'm still holding 8th place.

I see it like this, new people come to the games site and play the games in free mode, they then see there are points tournaments and a list of prizes that can be redeemed with the points, from there they want to find out how to get points and they join CC.

It's a win win situation, new referrals for Cashcrate and another way for members to gain referrals.
Giving people some free games to play or, say, 5 free tries for each game may bring more people in. I know I might try it out if I could get used to the games for free.

The referral id is very interesting. I have a horrible blog but, also have a page for cashcrate games. This page has gotten more hits than all the rest of the site.
Perhaps our international members can get paid in points for these referrals?
Then once they join cashcrate proper, they can get the regular referral bonus.

If you tell the people who are already loyal to the games that they can't play, you would lose most of the pot. (I, myself, put in about 300 points a night) Then, when the new people came to play they would see a little dinky prize and decide to skip it anyway, ya know?

An idea along the same lines is: CashCrate could have a skill level- maybe, after you play Crates 30 times, you move up a skill level, and so on and so on- this way everyone gets to play, but beginners get to play against beginners and experts against experts.

I know if I tried to compete in any of the games, I might as well throw my points in the trash.
With the length of time people have been playing already, a newbie has no hope.
Skill level is a really good option to consider.

I feel as though I am wasting points when I play. This is a reason I support the "free games" or "five free try" ideas that have been mentioned above. Also the only points offers I can complete require using a cell phone or a credit card. Both of which I feel uncomfortable using with most third party websites.

I would like to earn points even if I didnt finish in the top 5! I think points should be awarded to people who finish in the top 10 in rankings. That would get me more excited and I would want to play more.

While I'm all for the free games idea here on the site since it's probably not obvious to some and might not be to newbies for sure, the games are taken from a site called toadgames.com where you can probably find all the games and can play/practice for free. With the exception of crates... Not sure if it's there, I've seen something similar but not exactly the same. It could be that I just didn't look well enough tho.

I agree with the skill level thing. I gave been playing for a while and practicing for free too and in some of the games I just can never make as much as courtney and a few others make. That's my reason for sometimes not playing, because I feel like I'm just giving away my point when I do because I KNOW they will make a higher score than I do before the tounament is over. I would much rather play for a small pot that I have a shot at winning than a bigger pot that I don't. So while I'm nor sure if having a limit on how much they play is the best solution.. I think that's why so many people just stop playing after a while.

And like zeke said, some of us just don't have 200 points a night to keep trying.

I just spent more than 5 minutes typing up something only to have it disappear because I didn't have permission to post cause it took too long to type.

People DO want to be able to practice for free and they SHOULD be able to do this , and of course for no reward.

People DO want more ways to earn points and Games are a nice way to do that. I DO NOT trust putting my credit card or financial info out there blindly either and so doing most offers are pointless. Also the cellphone offers are basically a ripoff that cost you a lot of minutes and charges on your cellphone bills , NOT a good way to get points to be able to play the games.

People want to see a TOP TEN payout every night , this may be possible if CASHCRATE stops taking 25% of the pools , I still DON'T understand why they do this anyway. We work hard for our points and we are expected to just hand over 25% of them for the "right" to play the games. People want MORE ways to earn points , NOT to lose points. Stop taking the 25% and increase the payoffs to a TOP TEN and maybe even IF enough people play on a given night to support paying out ten places.

DROP the games that do not take in many points , people just have NO interest in them , put up FRESH , NEW games that people will try and may catch on and attract a following.

Have occasional games tournaments where points are combined from playing ALL the games. That way people like a Trini or an Austin would have an advantage over someone like me who plays only 3 different games. Combine the play from all games and pay out for the top ten. P.S. ( BAN Courtney from this type of tourney as she plays all the games ). LOL LOL LOL

25% is a big cut, 10% is more reasonable

Agreed. I've said this numerous times with no response or comments from the admins, but 25% is VERY EXPENSIVE. It causes constant point drainage from the player pool. I understand that CashCrate needs to earn profits too, but 25% is excessive and unnecessary. Even casinos (which as we all know are scorned upon by society) only rake 10% from poker tables.

Also, why not have direct interaction games? What I mean is players get to play other players. Games like chess, scrabble, connect 4, tic tac toe, yahtzee, or poker. These types of games are a lot more fun than solo games.
